STAFF RETREAT
In deed it all begun as an idea; something that was inspired by unique strengths borne of KISWCD staff: an eye for detail, a meticulous work spirit and a clean understanding of the need for team building and relaxation. All these traits coupled with unwavering sense of determination of KISWCD staff team building were the right combination for what only could be described as a winning team, a team ready to work towards KISWCD success.
KISWCD staff was treated to a great adventure at Rock’s Place in Kitengela. The team building, motivation and relaxation through various activities could only be described as time well spent and objective well met. Activities to meet the objectives of the day included paint ball, obstacle course, volleyball, tug of war, kati, and horse riding. Viva to event organizers!
‘It was not easy, it involved a lot of sacrifice especially with other duties to perform at the workplace’, said Ms Munialo, event organizer. ‘There were times when we thought planning for the retreat was draining us since getting a place that everyone was going to like was not easy!’ added Mrs. Odindo another event organizer. ‘I am glad the retreat was successful, we hope to have more of this’, echoed the Director of Programmes.
Though tired, all members of staff were grateful to the management for giving them a chance to socialize with each other away from the College environment.
