ADCD 2300: DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (ABMA UK)
This is a one and half year course offered in three Diploma Levels 4, 5 & 6 designed for community Community Development students who wish to have a sound grounding in the areas of Community capacity building. At the end of the course students are expected to be skilled and knowledgeable in the following areas:

DIPLOMA LEVEL 5 UNITS
ADCD 2308: Business Planning and Practice for Community Organizations
ADCD 2309: Conflict Resolution and Community Campaigning
ADCD 2310: Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management
ADCD 2311: Marketing Principles and Methods for Community Organizations
ADCD 2312: Project Finance and Funding
DIPLOMA LEVEL 6 UNITS
ADCD 23 14: Community and Inter-Agency Working
ADCD 2315: Social and Community Enterprise
ADCD 2316: Intercultural Dialogue and Community Engagement
ADCD 2317: Reflective Practice in Community Development
ADCD 2318: Comparative Policy and Social Movements in Community Development
ADCD 2319: Project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum qualifications are KCSE C- or KCE Div. 2 or the equivalent
- Certificate in Project management, Social development, Social work or Community development
- Course open to beginners, Development facilitators, Project managers and Fresh students
