KISWCD ONLINE AND EXECUTIVE PROFESSIONAL COURSES

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of these Training programmes is to empower as many people as possible in the short courses so as to improve their efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity in the workplace.

WE HAVE 3 TRAINING OPTIONS:

 1) DISTANCE LEARNING

    • This is a method of study in which lectures are broadcast or lessons are conducted by correspondence, without the participant needing to attend a physical /face-to-face or in-person training.
    • Lectures notes and learning materials are sent to participants to study from the comfort of their homes or office. There are many outstanding benefits of distance learning which include flexibility, time-saving and convenience. This is popular with many participants.
    • In our case; participants are sent materials and given practical assignments that are assessed by our facilitators.
    • The duration of the course is 5 days
    • A one-day engagement with the facilitators is mandatory (online/physical). We recommend the last day of the training. This is for a minimum of 5 hours.
    • The charges are KShs 10,000 per participant.
    • After successful completion of the 5 days training programme; participants will be issued with a certificate of training.

2) ONLINE LEARNING /VIRTUAL TRAINING

    • This form of training offers participants the added convenience of a learning experience tailored to their schedule. We deploy a combination of resources to deliver this training which includes the use of EBooks, journals, videos, recorded lectures, quizzes, discussion forums, live Q&A sessions and interviews.
    • We use Zoom cloud meetings, Google meets and Microsoft teams to deliver the training content to our participants.
    • The pieces of training are (5 days) full-time and run from Monday to Friday.
    • Our trainers will deliver the training from our Training Centre
    • The Charges are KShs 20,000 per participant.
    • After successful completion of the 5 days training programme; participants will be issued with a certificate of training.

3) PHYSICAL TRAINING/FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING

    • We recognize the strength of face-to-face learning.
    • Face-to-face learning is an instructional method where the course content and learning materials are taught in person to a group of participants.
    • This form of training provides real-time interaction between participants and facilitators and among participants
    • The training will be conducted in selected hotels in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, and Mombasa.
    • The Charges are KShs 45,000 per participant.
    • The Fee covers tuition, course materials and meals during the training.
    • The training is (5 days) full-time and runs from Monday to Friday.
    • The participants are to confirm attendance 1 week before commencement of the training.
    • Cancellation or deferment should be done 1 week before the training.
    • In case of cancellation, a participant is entitled to a 90% refund of the total charges.
    • Deferment of courses should not take more than 3 months.
    • Participants to cater for their transport, accommodation and incidentals
    • Participants are to be issued a certificate of training.
